PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT NORTHWESTERN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

The Evergreen Invitational is a premier event that brings the beauty, pageantry and amazing athleticism of equestrian Grand Prix show jumping to the greater Chicagoland area. The equestrian Grand Prix (meaning greatest or richest of prizes) has long been a fan favorite in Europe and is now gaining wide popularity here in the U.S. Regarded as one of the most exciting events of the Olympic Games, Grand Prix show jumping events are now seen from coast to coast! Proceeds from the Evergreen Invitational benefit women's health programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

HEADS UP!
PLANNING FOR THE 2010 EVERGREEN INVITATIONAL IS WELL UNDERWAY

Mark your calendars!  The Evergreen Invitational show jumping Grand Prix is slated for September 11th, 2010 at Evergreen Farm in Bristol, Wisconsin.  Once again, the event is expected to draw both nationally and internationally ranked horses and riders, plus a huge crowd of enthusiasts from all over the greater Chicago area.

Founded in 2007 by M.K. Pritzker, the event raises funds in support  of special healthcare programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

The Evergreen Invitational has been praised by riders and trainers for its spectacular course and fine hospitality including accommodations for the horses, and a complimentary food tent.

Spectators are treated to a feast for the eyes as they watch the competition from beautifully appointed tents situated on a berm above the course, and a lavish luncheon buffet (definitely not a day to count calories!)

A  stroll through the “Promenade of Shops,” which in previous years has included Graff Diamonds, Dennis Basso furs,  a display of Ferraris from Lake Forest Sports Cars, antiques,  clothing designers, fine cheeses, bakery and caviar purveyors, adds still another very pleasant aspect to the day.
